Little Earners
For kids with big plans

Raise a kid who knows how to work.

Your kid keeps asking how to earn money. Little Earners turns that into real work — ideas broken into first steps, and small jobs from people you trust.

Their first customers are people you already trust

The people you choose — family, neighbors, friends — get a simple link, with no app to install. They post small jobs with honest prices, you approve each one, and your kid gets the news that there’s work waiting.

“Thank you, Will! The card made Grandpa’s day.”
— Uncle Dan got this note back the day it was finished

When a job is finished, the person who posted it gets a thank-you note back, and the goal chart ticks up. Anyone in the circle can also promise dollars toward the goal — Little Earners keeps the tally, and the money changes hands in person. We never move or hold a family’s money.

Where this came from

My six-year-old made $17 selling painted rocks.

We drove to the beach and hauled home twenty smooth rocks. He washed them and left them out overnight. Then he painted a picture on every single one — a fish, a ladybug, a butterfly — an hour or two a day, four days straight, and sold them to his aunts and grandparents for a dollar each.

The idea was the easy part. What he actually needed was someone to tell him what came next, and someone willing to be his first customer. That’s why Little Earners exists.

Little Earners is built to get kids off screens, not keep them on them.

You spend about three minutes picking a mission together. Then the phone goes away, and the rest happens on the porch, in the kitchen, or around the neighborhood.

How it works

Three small steps to their first real job

1

Set it up together

The setup takes five minutes: what they love, what they’re saving for, and the rules you set. Then you invite a few people you trust — family, the neighbor you wave to, a friend from church. They get a simple link, not an app.

2

Ideas and jobs come to them

Idea cards arrive with first steps, a fair price, and a pitch to practice out loud. The grown-ups you invited post small jobs on the family board. You approve every card and every job before your kid sees it.

short enough to read together — even at five
3

They finish it, and everyone sees

Your kid does the job and marks it done, the person who posted it gets a thank-you note back in your kid’s own words, and the chart climbs toward the thing they’re saving for. Nobody forgets the first thing they finished themselves.

Goals & milestones

Every finished job goes somewhere they can see.

Young kids don’t think in numbers — they think in pictures. So every job they finish and every thing they make fills a chart pointed at something they’ve been working toward.

Every time they get paid, they decide how much goes to save, spend and give.

the goal is the reward — no points, no badges
