By creating an account you agree to what follows. If you disagree with any of it, the right move is not to use Little Earners.
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. One adult holds the account and is responsible for everything that happens under it, including what other adults you invite choose to post.
Children do not have accounts and cannot sign in. Everything a child sees, they see with you.
We never touch your money. Little Earners is not a bank, a payment service, a wallet, a debit card, or a money transfer business. When a grandparent pays your child five dollars for weeding, that five dollars passes directly from them to your child. The app records that it happened. It does not hold, route, or move the funds, and it never will.
The only money that moves through Little Earners is your own subscription payment to us.
Little Earners is also not an employer, an employment agency, or a marketplace. We do not introduce your family to strangers, do not vet anyone, and do not match your child with customers. The people on your board are people you invited because you already know them.
This is the part worth reading slowly.
We provide a place to write things down and a place for people you trust to post ideas. Every judgment about what your child actually does is yours.
Little Earners uses AI to suggest jobs and small business ideas based on an age and a set of interests. These are suggestions only. They may be impractical, poorly suited to your child, or occasionally wrong. Suggested prices are guesses, not market rates, and nothing in the app is a prediction or promise of earnings.
Read each idea and apply your own judgment before your child acts on it.
Inviting someone creates a private link. Anyone holding that link can post a job to your board, whatever name is attached to it — the link is what grants access. Share it only with people you trust, and remove an invite whenever you want. Every posted job still waits for your approval.
What you write in Little Earners — your children's names, goals, jobs, notes — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. We store and display it for the sole purpose of running the product for you, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Do not use Little Earners to break the law, to endanger or exploit a child, to harass anyone, to post another family's information, or to attack or probe the service. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
We aim to keep Little Earners running and your data safe, but this is a small independent product, not a utility. There will occasionally be downtime, maintenance, and changes to features. If we ever have to discontinue Little Earners, we will give account holders notice and a way to export their records first.
You can stop using Little Earners and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that is used in a way that risks harm to a child. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
Little Earners is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any idea it generates is safe, legal, or profitable in your circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Little Earners is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from work your child performs, from interactions with people you invited, or from money that changes hands outside the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations simply do not apply to you.
If we change these terms meaningfully we will update the date above and email account holders. Continuing to use Little Earners after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
Questions about any of this go to support@littleearners.app, and a real person will answer.
